I absolutely hate
Amelia but love
Amalia. I used to worry about it being mistaken for
Amelia too, but I have a little girl in one of my classes named
Amalia and have never heard one of the other kids mispronounce her name or have felt the urge to say
Amelia. I think said out loud they sound a lot more different than one would think. She's sometimes called
Mali, but I think that's adorable too. Anyway, yeah, I just really like this name. Combos later.
