Cade I feel works much better for a boy.

Cadee / Caydee or Cadie / Caydie or Cady / Cadey I think works better for a girl. My only worry is that some people would pronounce it like a golf Caddy / Caddie. But then you just need to correct them which in my opinion isn't a big deal.
