Is naming your kid a flower (Primrose) and then calling them by a different flower (Posy). Just what. I mean obviously Primrose nn Rose is fine as it's in the name but just logically speaking, it's like naming your daughter Magnolia and calling her Maple. I can see where you get the nickname, but it doesn't make sense. It makes me want to call them whatever flower I feel like using at that time.

I would pair it with Josephine / Josefina but excluding that maybe Margaret? Margaret nn Daisy never made sense to me so Margaret nn Posy doesn't change that tone any. But then again, I would probably have the urge to just call Margaret whatever nonsensical flower nickname I felt like. Maybe Penelope would work better since Penelope nn Poppy is seen, and it has the P and o there.
