Adele will definitely see a rise in popularity. Even without the singer, it's part of the Maddie (Madeline, Madison) / Addie (Addison) pool of names. And I couldn't be happier to see Adele / Adela / Adelaide / Adeline / Adelina all get a boost in the rankings.

But I wouldn't bet the house on Bruno going anywhere, or even being on the list at all. If anything that movie made me dislike the name. I didn't before because I know a man whose got a brother named Bruno. It was just a quirky, odd little name. But that movie did it a disservice.

I've argued in the past for not letting cheesy pop culture references ruin names like Ursula, Imelda, Drusilla, Damien, and Malachi. So I'll try to follow my own advice and keep an open mind about Bruno. It just was never really a favorite to begin with so I don't have much energy for an inner struggle to keep it viable.
