Bluma, because
Bluma means flower, and
Florence... sounds like flower? :P My grandmother probably didn't do her research.
So maybe another family name?

The other names in the sibset were relatively popular in their birth years (obviously if you don't count the fact that Carolyne is spelled that way), but my mom's wasn't-- I wonder if that has anything to do with her being born in
France. I found the top 10 in
France in 1960... (she was born in 1963)
