My best friend, who is married and TTC, told me tonight that she is a) into 'old man' names (which she has teased me for for years) and b) that her front runners for a boy are Alfred "Alfie", Edward or Theodore nn Ned or Ted, or Barry.

Admittedly, Barry sounds kind of distinguished with her husband's last name but I'm struggling to get past the goofy middle aged man vibe.

So...WDYT of Barry? I know it is dated, but could it work today?
