I see it as masculine, and cringe at it on a girl (and I don't particularly like it either way).
I don't think it's fresh on a girl, either. Jaden was up in the 200s for girls in the US around 2005, and it's been falling away since; Jayden is still up in the 200s for girls in the US. There are hundreds of female Jadens out there already.
