I rather like Bix! Trixie is a well-known option (I was mildly insulted as a child when the little boy across the road named his puppy Trixie - took it as an affront to the family, which it certainly wasn't) but Bix is new to me. My DH knew a Beatrice once who was known as Trissie, but I don't like that at all. When my DD was little she was sometimes known as Frisky Triskie, but now she's settled firmly on Bea.
