Yeah, Charlie's pretty unisex. I know a girl called Alex - just Alex, not Alexandra - so I can see nicknames like Charlie becoming more like that. I think Charlie as a full name for a girl is fine. If she was called Charlotte, she'd be called Charlie or some other nn anyway, probably. Anyway, I've always of Charlie as a very unisex name. It's great on either gender.
