Edith is one of those names which I think will rise a lot future years. I think it's still a bit too "old-ladyish" for a lot of people at the moment although it has risen about 50 places. I never used to like it at all but watching Downton Abbey made me appreciate it more. You've also got the option of the nickname Edie which is quite cute.

Evie pronounced Ev-ee is odd! I've heard Evelyn both as Eve-lyn and Ev-lyn. I hadn't realised that Eve names aren't more popular although both Eve and Eva climbed. Here we have Eve, Evie, Eva and Evelyn in the top 100.
