Well, I've been living in the South for a few years, so I'm very used to Mary Clare, Mary Beth, Mary Catherine, Mary Phyllis, Mary Alice, etc. Unless someone introduced herself with the duplet, though, I would just call her Mary.

The thing about Mary Jane is that not only is it a plant, it's a shoe. Whether or not you're put off by it, your hypothetical daughter would probably get teased mercilessly. It's also just pretty blah, especially in comparison to something like Mary Olivia or Mary Keturah.

I really like all of your combos except Mary Jane and Mary Matilda. My favorites are Mary Alix, Mary Olivia, Mary Susannah, and Mary Sophia. I would suggest:

Mary Odette
Mary Eliza
Mary Annabel
Mary Isabel
Mary Philippa
Mary Noelle
Mary Georgiana (jorJAYna)
Mary Arielle
Mary Victoria
Mary Blythe
Mary Adele
