Well, you can always "fix" mispronunciations. The only question is, will it annoy you to have to do it time after time.

I picked real estate agent for a reason. These are people I have very little trust in. About at the level I trust used car salesmen. Ours was Bonnie. Every time I had to trust her and thought about her, her name did matter - just a little. If she had been Cathy, I think I might have more easily forgotten my misgivings. And we're talking about a woman who looked and acted like a real estate professional... Bonnie. It's not that I would distrust someone based only on their name, but that their name does end up being part of an overall impression and affects how much I am likely to see someone as trustworthy. Sorry - I wish it weren't so, but I'm only human. (I don't like the name Bonnie)
