The only name that I can honestly say I hate (and I mean, I feel revulsion when I see it) is Eleanor/ Eleonore. No idea why, I probably had a traumatic encounter with it as a child (it's not used here and I've never met one in real life so maybe on TV or in a book?). It seems to be a beloved name on this board.
I also dislike John, Charles and Ed- names (Edward, Edwin, Edmund, etc.), but I can see how others might like them.
As for names other don't like (I mean other posters here, since it's liked in real life where I live) my poor Barbara always gets a mention form me in these threads.This message was edited by the author on May 19, 2012 at 8:20:14 PM
