I know that many won't like the idea of using Evan on a girl. I just really like it. I grew up with a female Evan and it never occurred to me that it could be a boys name until I was in elementary school. I met my first male Evan much later, when I was a teen. It is kind of similar to Evelyn and other Ev-names such as Eve, Eva and Evangeline. I really like it on a girl.
So wdyt? Horrible? Okay? Nice? I also like the nickname Evvy EH-vee.
Did actress Evan Rachel Wood make it more usable for girls?
