I think you're overstating this.

First of all, I don't think that there would be any real danger--hehheh---of a child with the middle name of Danger being made fun of. This is because of the fact that middle names are rarely known by other people, unless they are specifically told of the name by the one bearing it. I don't think it happens often that children are asked by other children what their middle names are. Also, I would think that children would be more likely than adults to think that Danger is a cool name. And I think that a mentally healthy child could pull off Danger as even a first name, as long as he was confident and acted like he himself didn't have a problem with the name.

If an adult is asked what his or her middle name is, and the adult finds the name embarrassing, then the adult can say, "I don't want to tell you" and that will usually be respected, or the adult can say, "Well, it's embarrassing, I don't know what my parents were thinking, but it's Danger", and this might elicit a bit of a chuckle from another adult, but it won't elicit continual teasing.

And it's really farfetched to say that a mentally healthy child who is raised in a loving, happy home will end up committing suicide because of a middle name.
