Sorry but I don't agree with you. Yeah its fine if people choose names that some day will be dated, and its equally fine not to care. I wouldn't compare Sophia to Gladys or Heather. To me, it's more classic than that. Your opinion is that Sophia are going the same way (someday) as Gladys or Heather, but that doesn't make other peoples opinions wrong, not yet anyway.
And what I meant by "there's a reason those name are in there" is because most of them are legit names. Of course I don't like all of them, Nevaeh and Bentley in the top 100 baffles me, but I'd rather be named that and have 200 other people in my school named the same thing instead of something near the bottom 1000 like Rayden, Legend, Karma or Malaysia.
So, I'd prefer having a super common name instead of something totally out there.
