I like it alright. I am not that into it, I think because of the city, and also slightly for the reason I don't care for Vanessa: the "van" part makes me think of "vanity." It's a nice name, though.

I think I like Savanna better than Savannah because to me, it evokes the image of an actual savanna, more than of a city in Georgia.

It does have a middle-class or ruralish or Republican sort of image, what some people would call downmarket or even trashy - similar to names like Jasmine and Alyssa and Amber, not as much as Destiny and Sierra but a little bit. I don't know exactly why I have associated it vaguely this way - I guess because of its overall style. ?? It does not cause me to like it any less, and I would not be really surprised to find a Savannah among the children of liberal professionals, either. w/e. Just saying.
