I know the feeling. It bugs me to no end when other people do that. I love the name Lilith, which obviously has a MUCH stronger association with one being than Charles does, but when someone's like, "Oooh, night demon who kills children..." I'm all, "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IT'S A COOL NAME!" But yeah. Charles = Charles Manson for me and I canNOT make that go away. Ugh! I can't tie it to anyone else! Even my mom is confused by it. She was alive for the Manson murders, whereas I was born in 1992, and she has zero connection with that name to Manson. What gives?!
