Thanks! You're right. I forgot about
Summer's popularity in the late 70s. It didn't make the top 100 but it came close and entered the top 100 in several states. So maybe it sounds like a 70s hippie name to some. Also you're right about
Autumn being kind of close to
Aubrey and
Audrey. Also
Audie (a nn you could use for
Autumn) is pretty similar to
Audrey. I thought
Winter would make the top 1000 but it didn't...
I actually think
Wynter looks kind of surname-ish so I don't have a problem with it. Same with
Sommer, but I dislike it. Autymn and Wyntyr and Summah are horrible. Have you seen that Autumm was used last year? I think there were 5 or 6 of them.
