I have both on my PNL though Mark spelt Marc (I prefer the look of Marc). They are similar in many ways like you said but I think Mark is harsher and more forceful while Paul is gentle and soft. I used to dislike Paul until I met two guys named Paul who made me like it and see it in a different light. I can't really decide which I like better soundwise but I prefer Paul lookwise. If I had to use one in real life it would be Paul (probably because I love Saul)
