I think it's pretty cool. It seems a little old-man-ish to me and maybe a wee bit strange/weird, but I like it. I think the best middle name would be something pretty simple and classic. Not too over the top.
Sterling Emmanuel's okay. I don't think it's the greatest, but not really bad either.
Sterling James
Sterling John
Sterling Benjamin
Sterling Luke / Lucas
Sterling Peter
