Not really her middle name, but the same concept. I knew a girl called Hilda, but after a few years she decided she wanted to be called Bette (apparently because some fortune teller told her it would be lucky or something silly like that), and she got her name changed on all her legal documents and so on. At first everybody still called her Hilda, but after about a year or so everyone was calling her Bette, and now I can't think of her as named anything but Bette.This message was edited by the author on June 24, 2012 at 3:21:25 AM
