Popular German names in the from the early 1900's?
So, I'm planning a book set in Germany during WW2. And I was wondering if any knows popular names from the 1920/1930's for the children, and early 1900's for their parents? My grandmother is German, and there are a lot of names there, but I don't want to use them on main characters. Thanks : )

This site is sort of our name charts (it's "all" we've got ;-) ):http://www.firstnamesgermany.com/If you click on "hit lists for every year", for some reason the language will switch back to German but you can search by year.Edit: If you want to look at the statistics by decade, there is a column on the right side that reads "Jahrzehnte" (meaning "decades"). For example "1890er Jahre" in this case means the names most popular in the years 1890 to 1899.Hope this helps.
