I heard of a Quentin in a book called "All the Money in the World." I read it in 3rd grade.

I adore Quentin. I would absolutely consider using it if I had another son. Maverick is just plain silly. When I see Quentin and Maverick together, I picture a cool, good-looking guy and his labrador retriever. You can guess which one I think is which. ;-)

Maverick sounds like the name a 'take no prisoners!' jock would give his son. I think it's corny.I love Quentin, though. It's very sweet.

Maverick seems like it's desperately trying too hard to be edgy or cool. It also places a certainly expectation upon the child. What if he isn't a maverick?I've never known anyone named Quentin so I don't really get a certain vibe from this name. Well, maybe I do ... the name seems cultured and elegant so perhaps that's the way I'd view the individual. I do find the name handsome.

Quentin is one of my absolute favorite names! I just think it's this perfect combination of old world class and new school chic and a name I can really picture on any male, anywhere :)Maverick I like too but it seems much more "frivolous" than Quentin, sort of a passing trend even if it does have a rugged cowboy vibe

Quentin is nice. Maverick is a bit much, but I wouldn't necessarily balk at it as a middle name.
