I would have described a name nerd as someone who either
- loves to talk about, think about, or create names and combos
- loves to learn about the history and meanings of names
- loves to keep tabs on trends and statistics about names
or all of the above.

*However* that would be after 4 years on BtN. Before that I thought I was a name nerd because I like to find funky and out there names. :) So I guess I was an "Ashley".

At home with two boys - namenerding it up during naps.
