I love Jonathan. It's classic, handsome, and not overused in my area. The only downside for me is the possibility of Johnny or John as nicknames, both of which I dislike. I would probably call him Nat or Nate if I had to use a nickname.
Anthony is a name I've never liked. It was quite popular in my area when I was growing up and I just find it lacks personality.
