Jethro by hyacinthus |
I don't have any TV associations, probably because I have not been a TV watcher for a couple of decades.
I associate it with Jethro Tull and "death row" and I don't like the throw sound at the end of it. It sounds very Southern and archaic to me, like Enoch, or Jedidiah or Ebenezer. I don't want to say redneck but it does evoke a .... provincial? insular? olden-American? sort of image. It's the opposite of classy and sophisticated. lol. Whatever, it's still usable and is conceivably softspoken and dignified. It just has some baggage.
