in why hyacinthus had such a strong negative reaction to the name, so I asked him about it. I often appreciate his style and his taste in names, even when they aren't names I would personally choose. Sometimes my opinions aline with his, sometimes they don't. He is one of the knowledgeable types around here I make a point of reading, even when I don't intend to post on the subject myself. He is also known to be grumpy/harsh at times. I try not to let this lessen my overall enjoyment of his contributions opinions.

For my part, I was conversing, not arguing. Hyacinthus absolutely is entitled to his opinion, and I was as honest and candid in my response to his expression of that opinion as he was in giving it. I've not been offended, nor did I intend any offense. :)
