Kaya
This was my favorite for a long time and I really like it at the moment. What do you think of Kaya? My favorite spelling used to be Kaia but now I prefer the look of Kaya.1) Kaia or Kaya?
2) Which spelling if you could choose any? (Kaia, Kaja, Kaya, Caya, Caia, Caja, Kya etc)
3) How do you pronounce it? KY-ah or KAY-ah? Which do you prefer?
4) Do you think the KAY-ah pronunciation works for Kaya? I used to prefer KY-ah but KAY-ah has really grown on me.

Kaia is cute, but I prefer Kira and Kara. 1) Kaia
2) Kaia
3) I pronounce it KY-ah. I don't like any other pronunciation.
4) I think many people will think of Maya when they see Kaya, so I don't think the KAY-uh pronunciation really works. Of course, that could just be my dislike of KAY-uh talking...

1) Kaya, I also prefer the way it looks
1) Still Kaya
3) I pronounce Kaya as KAY-ah, and Kya would be KY-ah. I don't have a preference because to me they are two different names.
4) To me KAY-ah is the only way to pronounce Kaya, if someone was pronouncing the name KY-ah I would immediately think it was spelt Kya.

1) Kaia
2) Kaia. Or maybe Caia. I can't decide.
3) I love it this name when it's pronounced KIE-a. KAY-a is bearable but not as attractive to me.
4) Yes, in fact I think a lot of people would pronounce it that way, because of the Kay part. That's why I personally prefer the spelling Kaia (when pronouncing it KIE-a) - no Kay.

Kaia, but I like both
Kaia then Kaya then Kaja in that order.
Ky-ah for both
Yes, even though I don't like it. I think the kay-ah prn, works better for Kaya than any of the other spellings- if I wanted that prn. I'd spell it Kaya. Partly why I like Kaia better.

1. Kaia, and I only like it as a nickname. It's too flimsy on its own.
2. Kaia.
3. KY-ah. KAY-ah sounds weird to me.
4. I guess, but she'd constantly be correcting people. I imagine most people would pronounce it like Maya with a K, so KY-ah.

1. Kaia
2. Kaia, but only because I feel like Kaja would get mispronounced here.
3. KY-ah. Which is what I prefer.
4. I just don't care for KAY-ah. I can see how it would work, but I was first introduced to the name spelled Kaya and pronounced KY-ah so that would be my instinct.

1) Kaia
2) Kaja
3) KY-ah, which is also what I prefer
4) Yes, it does. The reason I prefer Kaia to Kaya is that I probably would pronounce the latter KAY-ah, my less preferred pronunciation.I can never decide if I like this name or not. Mostly because I can't decide what I think of my main association, a "kaja" in Swedish ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Jackdaw

Awwww I think they're cute! I heard they are pretty smart as well.

Well, they have some less flattering associations here. Apparently, they liked to hang out around breweries and get drunk on the pomace, which is why it's not too unusual to call a drunkard a "fyllkaja", ie a "drunk jackdaw" ... XD

hahaha I think I like them even more now :P They seem to be kind of funny. But I guess the Kaya or Kaia spelling would be better then :P
