Thanks, Sofia!
I asked because I discovered Yula in a name book (that I'm not too impressed with) as an Irish name. The author claims that Yula is a variant of Ula and I was wondering if your book agrees.
Edit: Ula, as in Ula the alleged Irish name, that is. Or at least, the book says so.

Lisle
If you'd be so kind, I am interested to know what your book says about Lisle. I realize here it's a male name, but it was also my great grandmother's middle name, which she was always called by, and I've not ever been able to learn where it came from, other than finding that it's a place name as well as a type of fabric, and the thread that fabric is made from.
Liv, Bonnie and Paulina are my favorites from this list.

Thank you; appreciate the info. :)
I can add that a South African woman golfer, who must be in her middle-to-late sixties by now, has the given name of Lisle. I've never heard of another one, but nor have I seen people react to it with startled disbelief.
I like:
-Judah--although maybe too tied for me.
-Klaus--but maybe not realistically.
-Rio--though isn't that a parrot?
-Iskra--the meaning is pretty neat.
-Romina--never saw this before and I actually quite love it.
-Trinity--a GP I wouldn't even use in stories.

Chaparral?! What the everloving hell? Biomes do not make good names, people.
MALE:
Alford: An Alford plea means you acknowledge there is enough evidence to convict you beyond a reasonable doubt without your actually pleading guilty.
Bethel: Ugly sound, and anyway, since it sounds like a mix of Beth and Ethel it seems even worse on a male.
Chaparral: Even romance-novel cowboys aren't named this.
Deon: Prefer Dionne for a girl.
Epifanio: No.
Friedhelm: Has anybody even in Germany been named this in the last seven hundred years?
Gilson: No.
Hazard: Put a big warning sign on him.
Judah: Zippety Judah.
Klaus: Kind of sinister sounding.
Lisle: Icky posh way to misspell Lyle.
Massey: Very common surname around here, don't think it's attractive at all, too much like messy.
Natko: Eastern European nachos?
Pradeep: Robot noise?
Rio: Not really a name to me.
Severin: Severed.
Tiger: Silly self-important childish nickname.
Vatroslav: Klaus's and shadowy boss.
Wilkes: Not a first name.
FEMALE:
Alcina: Not horrible but I still don't like it.
Bonnie: Cute.
Cheryl: Not terrible.
