Oakley ... that's a brand name.
Henley ... a kind of shirt.
Wraith ... godawful.
Huxley ... sounds like hussy and hustle
Emerald ... I'm happy to see that used.
Miette ... the girl in City of Lost Children. Means a bit of pastry ... I guess it's a saccharine endearment for a young girl. That ruins it as a woman's name IMO, but it's a GP for me.

*Drools* ;)OK, some comments:Ace - ick. Makes me think of The Ace of Spades
Acksel - horrible spelling of Axel. "Ack!" is like "alas!" or "woe!" in Swedish.
Alfie - kind of cute. I think of that song: "What's it all about, Alfie?"
Atticus - although I love To kill a mockingbird, this name always makes me think of an old, dusty attic...
Banjo - I know Banjo Paterson was a poet, but I only think of those guys from Deliverance...
Braxton - ick!
Braythen - I have juft loft my fwonth teeth
Darius - makes me think of a very stylish vampire! I would prefer Darian or Darien. Darius is rather cool, but it sounds a bit snobbish
Dexter - this is very popular in Sweden right now. I think it's horrible
Dionysius - ugh
Ellis - I know it was originally a male name, but it sounds too feminine on a boy
Foster - means "foetus" in Swedish. Missfoster means freak, freak of nature, oddity, so there is a Swedish joke about how Jodie Foster is "Miss Foster"...
Fox - Swedish brand of fudge
Jagger Tucker - what, BOTH? Like Jagger-Tucker? Horrible
Jax - why not Jack, simply? Jax sounds like a Star Trek character
Jethro - ha ha, cool
Jonas - is this rare in Australia? It's a very common name in Sweden
LG - what!? Like the TV!? *Hysteric laughter*
Lunden - means "the grove" in Swedish
Nixon - one of the worst presidents EVER
Obadiah - ob la di ob la da
Ocean - love it on a girl
Rafe - bark, bark, woof
Sonic - The Hedgehog!?
Wraith - I had to google it. OK, so it's like "ghost"? I'd rather name a child Phantom :P
Airlie Laykyn - blargh, sounds like an NHL team. Arlington Lakers or something...
Allegra - LOVE it
Avalon - GP
Avrielle - nah, sounds like they couldn't choose between Avril and Gabrielle
Bronx Angel - SOOO tacky
Deja - why do I feel I have seen this before? ;)
Dottie - OK nickname, but horrible given name
Elydia - sounds like a compromise between Elysia and Lydia
Emerald - sweet
Freyja - I like it spelled Freja
Huxley - agree with you, this is awful on a girl
Ilaisaane - "All insane"
Kyrilee - I like Kyra, and Kyrie is a GP for me. But this isn't cute
Lanique - sounds like hair spray
Lois - I think of Family Guy
Mindy - and Mork
Polly Pixie - argh! Makes me think of my cousin's Polly Pocket, she had tons of those tiny doll houses when we were small
Seren - oh, this is so beautiful!
Sharneequah - sorry, I have to....*throws up in bucket*
Tulli - I like Tullia
Vienna - tacky

Calloway seems pretty cool. I like Callahan, so I feel like this might grow on me.
Murphy is awesome on pet or person!
I'd love to see some little Malcolms. The girls mostly look a big mess of made-up and smooshed-together and weird. Miette is interesting though.

Fianna, if it's pronounced the Irish way, is FEE-na. I really like it, and Fianna Rose is gorgeous.Boys:
Ace - this is just absurd to me
Acksel - meh
Alfie - so bored of it
Arden - meh
Atticus - never saw the appeal
Banjo - cute as a nickname, it's to marsupialesque as a real name
Braxton - I don't see how any parents who've had access to any sort of pregnancy-and-birth literature can take this seriously
Braythen - okay then
Calloway - actually kind of like this
Clyde - meh
Colton - irrational hate
Cullen - meh. This has been around a lot longer than Twilight though.
Darius - kind of cool
Dexter - don't see the appeal, but it's respectable
Dionysius - over the top
Edan - fine
Ellis - fine
Foster - surname Child?
Fox - no
Griffin - don't like it
Harland - no appeal
Henley - place name in Western Australia
Jagger Tucker - ick
Jarick - meh
Jax - no
Jayavi - I'm guessing this is a name from a particular ethnicity
Jethro - cute
Jonas - nice
Judah - nice
Kaige - what?
Kealan - ick
Koray - ick
Kyren - meh
LG - yes, brand name
Lunden - ouch

Sonic: There's a big fast food chain here in the US called Sonic. They always always always get your order wrong, it's almost like it's a gimmick.
Wraith: That's a ghost, idiot.
Bronx Angel: It would be silly even for a gangster's street name.
Opal: I really like this.
Sharneequah: In the US a name like this would be so stereotypical it would end up in racial jokes that get passed around on the internet for years and public officials get fired for forwarding them.

It's amazing that Margaret is now considered unusual - every second woman of a certain age in Australia seems to be a Margaret! I've met loads. Lovely name that deserves a comeback.

Yeah, same in Sweden, only with Margareta. My father's mother's name was Margareta and I've known tons, but I would be very surprised if I saw it on a little girl. The only young Margareta I have known was a Polish girl who was really named Malgorzata, but most Swedish people can't pronounce it...so she went by Margareta.
