Essentially. They sound more like SHEER-ee and SHEER-ə when I say them, probably because of my accent. Fully enunciating that SHEE before making the R feels like it takes some extra effort on my part, and my tongue's far too lazy.
Spoken quickly, like in regular conversation, there's not much difference between the two, though.
