I think that would make a cool name. We have a lot of them around here.

I like Jay, Raven, Lark, Wren, Nightingale (MN), and Chickadee as a NN. They're all girls, in my mind.

I really adore egret and have had it on my top list before (for a girl). ATM I'm considering Annabeth eget as a combo. egretta is just as cool IMO, bonus points for making "Greta" a possibility

I'm just making certain you like Egret for a girl not a boy? Personally I can see it going either way.
