I really like Megan, always have. I know alot of people see it as modern or trendy or even dated, but I think Megan has a lot of old fashioned charm, I see Megan as a similar style to Bethan

My two oldest dds are 9 and 7 years older than my youngest so naturally, the popularity of names shifted in that span of time. With my two oldest, I'd say the majority of popular names in their schools really came down to five: Megan, Jessica, Emily, Allison and Caitlin (of every spelling). Megan and Jessica were especially popular. It's funny because my girls had Magic Attic Dolls named Megan and Alison which I thought was appropriate because the dolls were popular when the names were popular.Of your combos, I like the ones where the mns are more unexpected:Megan Penelope
Megan Rosanna
Megan Susannah
Megan Yvonne

I like Megan, always have. Not enough to use it, though. I know LOTS of Megans. I almost got into a fight with a girl named Meaghan about her name, but I realized I would be a complete psycho if I did. She claims that Meaghan is the Irish spelling of Megan and that whereas Megan is pronounced MEH-gen, Meaghan is pronounced MAY-gen, the way it is in "Ireland" (read: the suburbs of Boston). I only like the MEH-gen pronunciation. MAY-gen makes me want to vom.

I quite like Megan too. I prefer it pronounced MEG-an, but I've only ever heard it pronounced MEE-gan, which I like too but brings to mind unpleasant personal associations. It's a nice name. I like Megan Alice, Megan Elise, Megan Julia, Megan Olivia, Megan Penelope, Megan Susannah, Megan Theresa, Megan Valerie, Megan Winifred and Megan Xanthe.

Would it be MEGan or MEEgan? I like MEGan, but not with other names with a short E, like Bethany, Penelope and Zelda. But since it became so widely used, I'd only consider it as a mn.

It's my name, so. I used to absolutely hate it. Now I'm more or less ambivalent toward it, I guess. I wish my mom had been a little more creative, but oh well. I can't really distance myself enough from it to decide if I'd like it if it weren't my name. Probably not because I grew up with so many and my tendency is to shy away from names that were prevalent while I was growing up, but there are exceptions, so who knows.Haha, you've got Megan Michelle on your list. That's my name, except my middle name is spelled Michele.I think Megan Greer is kinda a neat one.

Its one of those names that I feel like if I hear it or see one more spelling of it I am going to go mad. It was the go-to "I'm so Irish" name in my area for people who weren't adventurous enough for Siobhan or Sinead. And there were a lot of them.

I tend to like names that hit their peak in the eighties, but Megan is an exception. I just hate it. I hate the way it looks and sounds and the fact that it can be either Megg-in, Mayg-in or Meeg-in. I just hate it.

I like Megan, but I hate the way it is pronounced here in Australia (MEE-gan), it is so ugly. MEG-an is lovely but you'd have to correct people constantly to get that pronunciation here. Megan Ivy is cute. I also really like Megan Susannah.

You know, it's not bad. It's not super exciting, but it's not really boring either. I don't kind it, now that I think about it. And I like Meg as a nickname.Megan Alice - pretty good
Megan Bethany - I don't feel any flow on this one
Megan Caroline - Cute
Megan Diane - I don't like that they both end in the n sound and that they are both two syllables
Megan Elise - super pretty
Megan Frances - unexpected and nice
Megan Greer - ooo, not my style
Megan Hannah - both nice, but no flow together
Megan Ivy - pretty good
Megan Julia - Hey, I have cousins that are named Megan and Julia (sisters)
Megan Katherina - yeah, I like it
Megan Lorraine - sounds so 80s
Megan Michelle - ditto
Megan Noelle - I like it
Megan Olivia - Also nice
Megan Penelope - the flow is off again
Megan Quinn - nope
Megan Rosanna - nice
Megan Susannah - cute
Megan Therese - great one
Megan Ulyssa - oh dear, not for me
Megan Valerie - also good
Megan Winifred - meh
Megan Xanthe - not bad
Megan Yvonne - very nice
Megan Zelda - I can't quite take Zelda seriously, even in the middle name spot. There's some really good ones in that list. I like Megan Elise, Megan Susannah, and Megan Therese best.
