I like Lark and Wren as firsts or middles for girls and Dove, Sparrow, Magpie, Nightingale, Meadowlark, Skylark as middles only.
Robin and Jay are unisex to me as either firsts or middles, Starling is unisex as a middle.
Peregrine and Drake are masculine to me and work as either, Falcon, Hawk, Kestrel, Heron only for middles. Swift is my favorite masculine bird name, but only as a middle.
Ibis just came to mind and feels more masculine to me, I think.
