I would name a kid Montag in a heartbeat because I love Fahrenheit 451 so hard it makes me weepy. Like, literally, I'd save that book from a burning building, and not just cos of the irony bit. But seriously, Montag is a dorky name, and not useable. I don't like Guy (Montag's fn), so, more fool me. I guess I could make it a middle name. He's a bit of a flawed namesake but I love him a lot. This is probably the name I'd most like to use, but you can just imagine Montag Smith, for example, being the kid who can't drink milk without it shooting out of his nose and is allergic to everything in existence and needs to wear special shoes and snorts when he laughs.

Ludmila, after a strong female character. She was witty, adventurous, wicked smart and bookish, and the book she's in is beautiful. Seriously amazing book. Recommended to me by my English Lit teacher, and I've loved it since. Thing is, I love the character, I love the book... a lot... but Ludmila just isn't that pretty a name. I wish it were more socially acceptable, I wish I could warm to it more, because I adore the character and she's everything I'd want in a daughter.

Any Farscape name ever, despite me being a huge, huge, huge Farscape fan. You can't use those names on a person.

One of my friends is a huuuuuuge Ender's Game fan. Point in fact. Ender would not make a good name for a kid when you think about it.

Oh, and if you name your kid Anakin, I judge you so much! It gives me fan rage, and not only because the prequels sucked... hard.
