They were considering Blaze as a fn recently, so it's a relief in one way that it's just a mn.
As for my other cousin, I think they have some Catholic/religious family, so perhaps that's the reason for the religiousness. The Frances they're honouring is a woman, but that might be even more reason to opt for Francis in my books. Same name, just more masculine. Bartholomew does have a solid feel to it, doesn't it?
