Names on my mind
Just some names that have been on my mind lately, any thoughts welcome. :)Angelie - this is in my Swedish pronunciation dictionary (pr. an-she-LEE) for unknown reasons, it has a few odd names included
Frida
Snöfrid (SNÖ-freed, Ö = u in burn) - Old Norse name meaning "beautiful snow", or "snow peace" in modern Swedish - is it only usable for a winter child, or doesn't it matter?
Viola - vee-OO-la in my part of Sweden, VEE-o-la in other parts of the country - which do you prefer? And on a more English-friendly note, Ruby, Hazel and Juliet as sisters have been on my mind too.

Aw, Snöfrid is lovely. I like Frida a lot too and VEE-o-la is much much nicer than either of the English pronunciations I've heard.
Hazel & Juliet make good sisters; not so keen on Ruby.

I like the look of Angelie, but not the pronunciation. I like FreidaSnofrid looks really cute and I love the meaning. I don't think it would matter when the child was born. It's actually delightful :)
I prefer Violet but Viola is nice enough. I prefer Vee-o-laRuby is just so common here, especially among teenage mummies, It's just really overdone so bores me slightly. Hazel is pretty but nothing spectacular for me. I like Juliet but dislike Julie names as a hole. They sound fine as sisters

I love Frida (though I prefer Freda) and Viola, and I find Snöfrid so ineffably enchanting.

Not fond of Ruby - its popularity puzzles me!
