Re: Josie as a full name?
I pronounce Josie more with an s, although I've heard it and not minded it with the z. I love Josie, think it has plenty of spunk, but I honestly prefer it with a full name. I think it needs it. I can see it on an adult (and know an adult Josie in her 40s) but to me it really needs a full name. If you don't like Josephine, or even - despite Joss being more natural than Josie - Jocelyn (or Josseline, which I secretly love), I think any name starting with Jo- could be a Josie. Like Johanna / Joanna or Jocasta. I quite like Jocasta nn Josie actually!
