Amalia
Aveline
Eileen
Ramona
Jessamine
Caitlin
Odelia
Merrin
ThomasinaWhat do they make you think of? (I don't need a big description, just like if it reminds you of a taste, color, smell, or whatever.) And what do you think of these names otherwise?

Amalia: A diseaseAveline: A road where the rich and snobby live.Eileen: A woman in her 50s with a smoking habit and too much blue eye shadow.Ramona: Flowers.Jessamine: A girl in a Victorian dress even though it's modern times. Tries too hard.Caitlin: Tired from the 80s and with way too many variants. I'm a variant, myself.Odelia: Someone say, Oh, Delia, blahblahblah.Merrin: The person Tolkien deleted before publishing.Thomasina: Tamsin's split personality.

Amalia --> Dark Maroon / Burgundy. I like, but I like Amelia better.
Aveline --> Sage-y apple green. It's on my PNL, so I really like it.
Eileen --> Darker yellow green. I don't mind it, but I prefer Aileen.
Ramona --> Purple. And not a fan.
Jessamine --> An odd yellow to blue switch. I don't really like it.
Caitlin --> Browny. Average to me.
Odelia --> Yellow, buutery yellow. And meh. Ophelia for me.
Merrin --> A nice slate gray. But I dislike the name.
Thomasina --> No. Orangey-brown. And no.

Amalia- this is my daughter's name, so clearly, I absolutely love it and get compliments on it all the time. We also use the nickname Molly so she has options.Aveline- this name is on my list so like this a lot too. A tad old fashion, but sweet and ready for a comebackEileen- don't hate it, but I'd sing "Come on Eileen" to myself all the time so it's probably not something I'd useRamona- lovely! Classic, but under usedJessamine- better than Jasmine, but still a little too cutesy for meCaitlin- over usedOdelia- can't quite say why don't like it, but I don't. It just doesn't have a pretty sound in my mindMerrin- prefer Maren, but would only use it as a middle name. A bit harsh soundingThomasina-too masculine
