It's ok. I'm sorta the same, I think it looks better than it sounds. Although it does sort of make me think of 70s smoking waitress. The pronunciation is confusing, too. I'm never sure if I should say iv-ON, ee-VON... yuh-VON?
My SIL and niece's middle name is Yvonne (and I think it's also her mom and Grandma's middle name). They pronounce it yih-VON.
I do like Yvonne better than Yvette... Yvette makes me think of Chevette. My dad had that car when I was little. :)
