Hello BTN namers! I have a few questions. The names are::: David Walter --- Madison Ross --- Gerard Castle --- Dexter Ivan --- Ceallach Olaf (KEL-akh) 1) What do you think of those names SEPERATELY?
2) What do you think of those names as a sibset?
David, Walter, Ross, and Castle are family names.Thank you!

I like David, Ross and Gerard very much and Walter somewhat. I deplore Madison in all contexts, so I'd use Ross Madison and keep it hidden. Then your first three combos would be fine. Ceallach is outside my experience, and I imagine it would morph into the trite Kelly very quickly. Olaf Ceallach would please me more. Dexter is all cattle to me, and seems incongruous with Ivan - which is anyway my least favourite form of John. I'd use Iain Dexter if at all.A sibset of David, Ross, Gerard, Olaf and Iain (or Ian) would be good.

David Walter is a nice, smart sounding combo, potentially outdated though.Madison is more heavily associated as a girls name now. Gerard is neat with a similar feel to David, Castle is strange to me as name.Dexter Ivan and Ceallach Olaf stand out to me... Dexter is super trendy sounding, compared to the older David and Gerard, and Ceallach is just completely out there...

David Walter, I like Walter but David is so tired and boring. Would prefer Wzlter DavidMadison is unfortunately too much of a girls name now. But the combo flows. Gerard is okay, Castle makes it gimicky though. Dexter reminds me of the TV showCaellach sounds like something from Star Trek and Olaf only makes that worse.I only think David and Gerard sound good together and even that I would prefer to be Walter and Gerard

David Walter- traditional, honoring names
Madison Ross- if a girl, trendy fn, family name mn. if a boy, name that wasn't used for a long time turn girls' name so picked on, Ross could be honoring.
Gerard Castle- Gerard is meh, Castle isn't a mn to me, not even as a family name mn
Dexter Ivan- There was a tv show Dexter about a serial murder, so I'd stay away from it.
Ceallach Olaf- too much of a culture clash imo. David, Madison (f), and Gerard could work, possibly Dexter, but not Cellach- it's too different from the rest. Madison (m) is too rare to go with David, Gerard, and possibly Dexter.

David Walter is pretty good. The others are not so good. Ceallach is impossible, and sticks out from the others like a sore thumb. Madison is a girls' name now, like it or not.

Individually I like Walter. I don't dislike any of the names, though. As combos, I think they're all great. As a sibset Ceallach sticks out a lot, but eh.
