Re: Names I've recently fallen in love with- opinions please! :)
Ottilie -- I don't like it due to the first syllable.Lola -- I just can't like this because to me it's brash.Beth -- Really clunky and heavy.Mabel -- I agree that this is sweet.Molly -- I just don't like it. I don't hate it as much as I hate Polly, though. But it just makes me think of a dog.Emily -- I like it. I would never use it because of its popularity, but that doesn't make me dislike it.Ernest nn Ernie -- Ugh no.Jonah -- Words do not describe how I hate this.Patrick -- this is a nice handsome name.Edward -- Okay, but boring. I don't mind Ed but dislike Ned.

Thanks for you feedback :)And, woah, why do you hate Jonah so much? I think it's gorgeous!

I'm not sure that there is a concrete reason. I really dislike Joan as a girl's name, and Jonah sounds like Joan with an A attached. And then because it does sound like Joan with an A attached, I find it not very masculine. I also dislike Jonas. Maybe I just don't like the sound of Joan. But I think mostly it's just a reaction that there isn't a real reason for. I often either love or hate a name and can't give an actual reason for it, just as I can't give a reason that pink is my favorite color.

That's fair enough! :) I actually remember thinking that Jonah was a girl's name when I was little lol.
I can never explain why I like or dislike a name either! Xx
