Re: Names I've recently fallen in love with- opinions please! :)
Ottilie- Yikes. I am not even sure how to pronounce it, and feeling too lazy to look it up. Doesn't look or sound covers pretty to me,though.Lola- Honestly, it's just ok for me. Nms, but not horrible.Beth- One of my best friends is named Beth, short for Bethany. I don't like Elizabeth. Blah. Beth is sweet.Mabel- I really can't get past the Granny Mabel image in my head. Molly- Very cutesy and happy. However, my sons last dog was named Molly, by himself as a 4 year old. So, never would use it now.Emily- just, no. I don't like it. I know waaaaaay too many Emily's for me to even consider it sounding cute or pretty.
Ernest- nn Ernie...no. No. No. Bert and Ernie. Sesame Street. And old man Ernest. Jonah- Nice. It does remind me of Jonah and the whale, but the name itself is nice.Patrick- Love:) I would have used it for a middle name but J hated it.Edward- nah. Sorry. As a middle name, nice. But not for a first, and I think Eddy and Ned are particularly old mannish! :) IMO only! :)
