James- James is my dad's name, so I'm quite fond of it. It is high on my own list.
Benjamin- I just love the sound of it, despite the popularity.
Joshua- I've always liked Joshua. It is just so friendly and sweet sounding.

Zoey- But I much prefer the Zoe spelling, I strongly dislike the extra -y. Zoe is my favorite name as it honors my favorite women, my grandmother Zoe.
Chloe- I love the sound and look of Chloe despite its popularity.
Emma- I'm reading Emma by Jane Austen. I love Jane Austen and the book makes this name more appealing, (not that Emma is the greatest character ever, but I do find her enjoyable), even though it is extremely popular near me.

Avery- I see this as a boys name (even though I don't really like it for a boy).
Addison- Sounds so masculine to me.
Madison- I know so many Maddies that it is just ruined (and ruins the pretty Madeline and Madeleine). -son names sound be for boys.
