character sibset help. ETA few new names I've considered
So I've posted a few days ago about a book I am working on I need help with one more character here's the names I have so far. step mother Diana Clarice Everett
father Dylan Wayne Everett
sister 1 Azalea Juliet Everett "Zale" 16
Sister 2 Nevada Aurora Everett "Eva" 13
sister 3 ???? Everett 11the third sister is more of a tomboy than the others. I want a nature theme going through them all but I also want the names to be a bit unusual. I was thinking Willow nn Winnie or Phoenix nn Pixie? what do you think. its a science fiction story so I can play a bit with unusual would appreciate any helpETA: so somebody suggested the name Kestrel nn "kess" and I really like it it has the kind of feel I want. so now Nevada doesn't flow with the other's. I have been digging around this site and a few others and found a few more names let me know what your thoughts on these are. Now we are looking at the middle sister who is the classic girl/girl. she is very petite with long straight dark brown hair and golden brown eye's she's athletic, a cheerleader and a gymnast, and is a brown belt in Martial arts. she wants to be a stunt double. she has a horse named paparazzi. she loves to do her nails and dress up and other girl stuff but she can be tough when necessary. here are the names I'm considering again I'm also open to suggestions. Tabitha "Thea" or "Bitty"
Electra "El
Eirwen "Winnie"
Gwyneira "Gwyn"
Tempest

I love Eirwen and Gwyneira. I thing Gwyneira "Gwyn" is the best for this character.

I like Azalea Juliet, but Nevada Aurora seems kind of clunky. It doesn't flow nicely, and saying those two sisters together (Azalea Nevada) is really difficult. My tongue gets confused.Maybe, unless you're totally set on Nevada, you could try:
Celeste (Cel, Les)
Violet
Ashling (Ash)
Calanthe (Lani)
Celandine (Lani, Dina)
Amethyst (Ami)
Autumn
StarAnd for the tomboy sister, I think Winnie is way to wimpy. It's also a weird nickname to get from Willow. Phoenix is an awesome name, but Pixie seems kind of contrived and kind of annoying.
Maybe...Briar (no nn)
Falcon (nn Folly, maybe as a joke that stuck?)
Ashling (nn Ash?)
Sparrow
Wren
Blaze
Juniper (nn Juni?)
Marigold (nn Mari?)
Sorrel
Tempest (nn Tem?)

Nevada nn Eva seems way too much of a stretch. Plus it's very phrasey, which you may or may not mind.
Willow is nice, but again, Winnie as a nn seems contrived and unnecessary. Phoenix is annoying and Pixie even more so.Willow would be fine. Willow Mariah?

I'm open to suggestions about Nevada but Azalea is set in stone. I really like Kestrel nn Kess that somebody suggested but now I think Nevada doesn't flows anymore.

Hmm...How about Kestrel, as in the bird? Nickname could be Kess. Might be a stretch, but I could also see Riley as a nickname for it, or maybe Terry. Or perhaps Coriander, nn Cori? I think Willow and Phoenix are a bit too common next to Azalea and Nevada.
