I like the ones that don't grow in my area-Acacia (maybe we do have it, not sure), Cypress, Sequoia. There's Linden. One that's common where I live is Tamarack, we have 2 in the back yard. IT's also called Hackmatack, which no-one would like to be named.Larch?

Tamarack is AWESOME! I may just play around with that.
And yep, I had forgotten about Linden earlier. Someone else suggested Larch too. Also nice.

Maple and Rowan are the only ones I like in that list.

Love Oak and Sequoia as first names. Teak is also cool! Acacia is classic. I don't know why it's not used more often.

My favourite tree name is Willow

Yes, that is a very obvious one. Somehow I'm much more drawn to the obscure ones - as in rarely/not used as names.

I know a little girl named after a tree! Her name is Tilia, the genus of linden trees. I think it's quite pretty!Of your list up there, I enjoy Maple, Birch, Juniper, Acacia, and Cypress.Once I had a go-to Juniper combo of Cornelia Juniper (or Juniper Cornelia maybe?) that I adored. I also really like Juniper Clara / Clara Juniper - they fit so well together somehow.Cypress is one I love sort of from afar. I have no idea what I'd do with it. Cypress seems so soft and graceful to me.I just can't warm up to Sequoia at all, sadly! It seems so cold and alien.

Ooo, Tilia is very nice. And Linden...another good one.Cornelia Juniper is awesome - although I'd probably tweak it to Cordelia Juniper. I feel very similarly about Cypress. Soft and graceful and I'm a bit intimidated by it.

I like Oak and Birch, Cypress is really cool, as is Teak. Juniper is lovely.

Oak - I know of a little boy called Oak Arthur Lastname. All I could think of was that he'd be Oak A. :/ I think it's fine as a middle name though - something like Thomas Oak Smith sounds quite good. Montgomery Oak is great! Very sturdy and handsome.
Pine - too scented, also a verb, not keen
Birch - quite like it. Emerson Birch Taylor.
Cedar - like this too
Cypress - too close to the country for me
Spruce - I like Whitaker Spruce. Think it works quite well with the right name
Teak - sounds a bit like Tick and also Tweak
Poplar - don't think it'll ever be pop'lar
Maple - like. Miriam Maple Brown
Sequoia - not quite sure how this is pronounced, but sure people who live nearer them would be, and it would work in context
Acacia - not too sure about this, it's a rather sharp sound, but not awful
Juniper - this has always sounded a little precious tome for some reasonRedwood and Larch work for me, too. Also, Alder. And maybe Elm

I was at primary school with a girl named Sequoia! So, I knew it as a girl's name before I even knew it was a tree. I think it's really pretty.
I also love Juniper. It's cute and spunky.
Rowan is my middle name ^_^ It's also pretty popular as a given name, here. I know four Rowans (three boys and a girl). From your list I like:
Camille Sequoia
Rafferty Pine
Fiona MapleSomehow I think Maple works better on a girl. Maybe because of Mable?

I forgot that Rowan was a tree name too! And I love Rowan.
Are you a guy or girl Rowan?

Girl :)

Oak - All I think of is Professor Oak from Pokemon. I don't think it really works as a name.
Pine - Not really working as a name either.
Birch - It could work, but I think it is too close to "bitch".
Cedar - This would be nice as a name. I like it for a boy.Cypress - This would work as a name. Not sure if I prefer it for a boy or girl. Spruce - Not really my taste, but it definitely works as a name. Feels masculine.Teak - I don't think this one works as a name.Poplar - I feel like it could work, but it's also really close to the word "popular" and that turns me off it.Maple - I like this for a girl, but it could work for a boy too.Sequoia - This could definitely work as a name. I like it best for a boy.Acacia - Definitely can work as a name, and is very feminine. I was friends with a girl named Acacia "Casey" as a kid.Juniper - I love Juniper for a girl, so it definitely works.
Camille Sequoia - Camille seems feminine to me, and Sequoia seems masculine. Both are technically unisex, so I have no idea what gender this name is meant for :PFiona Maple - I think this is adorable.Gallagher Teak - Sounds like a place. Like, "Oh, we're going camping down at Gallagher Teak next weekend." Not my taste.Montgomery Oak - I really dislike this. I think it's in part because I always get Montgomery and Mahogany mixed up in my mind. Calloway Pine - I wasn't a fan of Pine, but I think this is quite nice.Cedar Hudson - I'm neutral on this one.Rowan Birch - Too much tree in one combo.

LOL at the paint colours! :)I meant Camille Sequoia for a girl. To me, Sequoia sounds very feminine.Fiona Maple and Quincy Poplar were my favourites too, I think.

Juniper is the only one I see working. Maybe Cypress as well since it reminds me of Cyrus.

I think these would work:
Oak
Birch
Cedar
Cypress
Teak
Maple
Acacia
JuniperPine is too close to pain, imo. And I know Sequoia is used as a name too, but I don't really think it works anyway. I love Maple and Juniper. Acacia reminds me of Acantha, a name I planned on using for one of my bunnies but she ended up with another name instead. And I think Maple and Juniper works great as first names too. Reuben Maple - I consider Maple to be feminine, but this combo popped up in my head and sounded lovely so there you go
Roxanne Maple
Lydia Maple
Elvira Maple
Maple Sophia
Maple Elowen
Maple Josephine
Maple GenevraIris Juniper
Sarah Juniper
Agnes juniper
Dora Juniper
Elsa Juniper
Juniper Sage
