except I probably wouldn't endorse it. I'd maybe pick something else and use it as a nickname if I wanted to bring out it's cuteness. But it's a little too cutesy I think for an adult.
Related/unrelated note: one name I really wanted to use for a girl when I was younger (maybe 9? 12?) - though no longer - was Merritt Leigh (nn Merry/Merri, but Merilee would certainly be another good one!) haha
