Sister for Frederick
I posted a couple of weeks ago about boys' names, now we're moving onto the girls... which is proving a bit trickier! I tend to prefer names that have an obvious nickname possibility, e.g. Frederick / Freddie, although that isn't essential.
So- any thoughts on which of these names would work well with our son's name? Combos?
Alice
Cecily
Molly
Caoimhe
Orla
Catherine
Charlotte
Beatrice
Annabelle
Polly
Penelope
Lillian
Xanthe
Evelyn
Astrid
Seren

Frederick/Freddie has a very sophisticated feel to me (but I don't know if that's just me!) so I guess I'd be looking for a name that sounded that way too.
From your list I like Evelyn the most, obvious nn being Evvy.
And I love Seren! It was on our list too! But we cut it off cos when you say it it sounds so much like Sarah than we thought people would mishear all the time and it'd get super annoying.
Charlotte nn Lottie would work really well I think, and Alice is nice.
I think there's some -line names that might work?
Josephine nn Jo/Josie
Emmeline nn Emmy/Emma/
Aveline nn Ava
Caroline nn Caro?
Adeline nn Adel
Evangeline nn ?
Madeline nn Maddy
Rosaline nn Rosa
If you don't like -line names then ignore all those xD
