I like both! I've never actually encountered Braith before (goodness knows how I've avoided it), but I rather like it, so thank you for introducing it to me. I do personally prefer the brieth pronunciation, though.
I certainly think Braith could work for a boy, and think I prefer it as such. Blythe I feel works either way, especially as a middle, though it's a smidge more on the girls' side for me. I don't think you could go wrong with either, though :)
